My niece, Jennifer (who incidentally just turned 16 and had her first behind-the-wheel driving lesson the other day) INSISTED that I FINALLY do another post. I’d planned to do a Thanksgiving post (which I did in Entry #37 before this one), but this post is in dedication to Jen. Hope she will get a laugh at the end, though she may have seen this before:
Dear God
So far today I have done all right.
I haven’t gossiped.
I haven’t lost my temper.
I haven’t been greedy, grumpy,
nasty, selfish or overindulgent.
I am very thankful for that!
But in a few minutes, Lord,
I am going to get out of this bed,
And from then on,
I’m probably going to need a lot more help.
I haven’t gossiped.
I haven’t lost my temper.
I haven’t been greedy, grumpy,
nasty, selfish or overindulgent.
I am going to get out of this bed,
And from then on,
I’m probably going to need a lot more help.
Ya know, I was really doing good on conquering all these vices until the alarm clock rang this morning. LOL
That “dreaded alarm clock” will do it EVERY TIME! HAW!
LOL! Thank you!! Yes I know the feeling. If my mom pulls the covers off of me in the morning I get mad. Hee Hee!
Cheer up, Jen. CHEER UP! HAW!
Hi Tommy, I’ve seen this before, but it’s funny because it’s true. Boy, do we need God!
Yea and Amen, Helen! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and that your Christmas season will be blessed.
